Bio

Neil Harland Bassplayer
Neil plays in a wide range of styles and has toured both in the UK and Europe and USA. He has also worked as a session musician recording for artists including: Revolver, Joe Cocker, Katherine Jenkins, Reno and more… (see discography). He has recorded four albums and a live dvd with acclaimed blues/folk slide guitarist Johnny Dickinson.

Played on sessions for radio and TV and has performed at UK music festivals including, ‘T in the Park’ and ‘The V Festival’ and TV shows including ‘Later with Jools Holland’ and ‘Top of the Pops’.

Worked in Germany opening on tours for Gary Moore, The Hooters and Saga. He performed on the Rockpalast TV show in Bonn and as a tutor/performer at the Rock Legends Adventure in Cologne.

Double Bass

Neil also plays double bass and can be heard on cds by Katherine Jenkins , The Chris Stout Quintet, Chris Stout Brazilian Theory, Rachel Unthank and The Winterset, The Unthanks, Free Spirits (Indo-Jazz).

Recent Stuff

  • Recently performed with ‘The New York All-stars’ (featuring guitarist Elliott Randall and pianist Dave Keyes) at the Willowman festival and Blues to Bop festival in Lugano Switzerland.
  • Has just completed a tour with Scottish band ‘Fiddlers Bid’ and played at the Transform World music festival in Trondheim Norway and Celtic Colours Festival, Cape Breton, Canada.
  • Live Radio 2 session with singer/songwriter Chris Wood.

Endorsements
